Hierfür stehen 20 freiwillige Probanden zur Verfügung. Es soll die Konzentrationsleistung vormittags, unmittelbar nach der Einnahme von Kaffee getestet werden. In einer Vormessung wird zunächst die allgemeine Fähigkeit zu Fokussierung der Aufmerksamkeit mittels eines Tests erfasst. Die Probanden werden unter Berücksichtigung dieser Werte vier verschiedenen Bedingungen zugeordnet: 0 Tassen Kaffee 1 Tasse Kaffee 2 Tassen Kaffee 3 Tassen Kaffee 15 Minuten nach dem Austrinken der entsprechenden Menge an Bohnenkaffee (damit der Kaffee vom Körper aufgenommen werden kann) wird die Konzentration der Probanden in einem Konzentrationsleistungstest erfasst.
